About Smoky: Smoky is a not-so-brave dragon who likes to scare his friends, especially Purpee, with the stories he has heard from others. While most dragons can breathe fire, Smoky is only able to breathe smoke.

About Shelly: Shelly the Turtle is a close friend of Purpee the Dragon and loves going on adventures with him. She is a very happy and curious turtle. She likes asking questions about everything. Shelly has a twin brother named Sunny the Turtle.

About Sunny: Sunny is a cool, brave turtle and one of Purpee the Dragon’s closest friends. He is the twin brother of Shelly the Turtle and likes climbing up tall trees and anything else he can climb.

About Stinky: Stinky the skunk is Purpee the Dragon’s neighbor and best friend.  He is a perfect match for Purpee, because while Purpee is adventurous and fast-paced, Stinky is very cautious and careful.  Stinky slows Purpee down at times, which usually proves to be a good thing!
